These terms govern your registered Loopmigo account and use of its member features. By selecting the age confirmation and terms checkbox and submitting registration, you state that you are at least 18 years old, agree to these terms, and acknowledge reading the linked Privacy Notice. Do not register if you cannot truthfully make that statement. The age statement is self-declared; Loopmigo does not verify age or identity through this form.
Use a username and display name you are entitled to use. Keep your password and recovery code private. Do not impersonate another person, share stolen credentials, or bypass access or safety controls. A username, membership badge or public profile does not verify a person's identity, qualifications or business credentials.
Apple purchases: In the iPhone and iPad app, Beacon and Pro are auto-renewable Apple subscriptions. Apple displays the price, billing period and any eligible introductory offer before confirmation. Subscriptions renew until canceled through Apple. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends to avoid renewal. The optional $1 USD 24-hour Pro preview is a non-renewing Apple purchase, available once per Loopmigo account; it does not include credit toward a subscription. Website preview credits cannot be applied to Apple purchases. Use Restore purchases while signed in to the same Loopmigo and Apple accounts. Apple handles its payment methods, receipts and refund requests. Deleting your Loopmigo account does not cancel an Apple subscription; cancel it with Apple to prevent future renewal.
Website purchases: The following Stripe pricing and preview credit apply to website checkout.
CTA bus information, L train information, Ping my stop, basic map access, registration and personal radio connections are free. Beacon costs $5 USD per month. Launch pricing has no activation fee for new or restarted Beacon or Pro subscriptions. An eligible 30-day Pro subscription trial costs $0 today and requires a payment method; it renews at $10 USD/month unless canceled. The optional 24-hour Pro preview costs $1 USD once and includes one $1 USD credit on the same account toward the next membership invoice with an amount due. The credit has no expiry, is non-transferable and is not redeemable for cash. A zero-dollar trial invoice does not use the credit. Existing invoices are not changed. Registration and the 7-day travel preview remain free. Pro costs $10 USD per month and eligible accounts may receive a 30-day trial. Car Mode and the four extra map views (Street, Outdoors, Topographic and Field scout) are included with Pro only. Both paid plans include community posting and Ride Companion. Advertising allowances and other included benefits are shown on the membership page. Transit fares are separate and are paid to the transport operator.
Registering, viewing a plan or accepting these terms does not start a Pro subscription trial or authorize a charge. New registrations receive a separate 7-day preview of Car Mode, beginning when the account is created. No payment card is required; the preview ends automatically without a charge. The 7-day travel preview does not include other paid membership benefits. Registered members who have not already used a Pro preview may optionally purchase one 24-hour preview of all current Pro features, including public posting within Pro limits, for a one-time $1 USD payment. Its 24-hour period starts upon successful payment, including when the app is closed. It creates no subscription and never renews automatically. An invoice is available in Account → Payments. Existing previously granted previews keep their original deadline and are not retroactively charged. Its countdown shows the deadline; posting and public-sharing rules still apply. Your free account remains available after the preview. A subscription begins only through a separate checkout showing the price, trial eligibility, renewal and any applicable taxes. Stripe processes website payments; Loopmigo does not store your full payment-card number. Subscriptions renew monthly until canceled. An eligible Pro trial becomes $10/month when it ends unless canceled beforehand.
Use Membership & billing → Manage billing to cancel before the next renewal. Ordinary cancellation keeps paid access until the displayed period or trial end. Account deletion instead ends the subscription and paid access as part of deletion, without waiting for the period to expire. Deletion does not automatically issue a refund. Read the delivery, cancellation and refund policy; contact support for billing problems or a refund request. Nothing here limits rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
Advertised previews are not active benefits until marked available. Availability, account recovery and uninterrupted operation are not guaranteed. Existing accepted terms remain available in their dated copies.
Private navigation, radio-group location sharing and public-map publishing have separate controls. Registration does not turn on GPS or a microphone. Adding a radio friend requires their acceptance and does not give them access to your GPS. Choose your audience carefully; public radio channels may admit new listeners. Other people may record or copy information they receive.
Your member profile begins private. Publishing your chosen details and linking them to a beacon require separate choices. Public beacons may reveal their selected map point, text and publisher details. They do not automatically publish your saved routes, private collection, account controls or live GPS. The holographic map displays beacon icons. Member photo uploads are disabled until mandatory image-safety screening is available.
Do not post, link to, request, distribute or promote nudity, sexual content, child sexual abuse material or any exploitation of a child. Do not engage in grooming, sexual solicitation, threats, harassment, hateful abuse, fraud, scams, impersonation or other unlawful conduct. Do not publish someone else's private information without permission, violate intellectual-property rights, or try to evade moderation or posting limits.
Submit only information and material you have the right to share. You retain rights to your own content and permit Loopmigo to store, display and process it as needed to provide the features you use and handle abuse reports. Public posts can be copied by others. Removing a post cannot remove copies held by other people.
Public community posting also requires the separate Community Posting Agreement. The app shows the current posting allowance and expiry before publishing. Free registered members and Beacon members may publish one advertising beacon per Chicago calendar day; Pro members may publish two. Each expires no later than midnight Chicago time. The publishing form shows the applicable allowance. Deleting or closing a beacon does not restore the day's allowance. Unused allowances do not roll over. Beacons cannot be traded.
Card Exchange: Waykeepers story-card trading is available to guests and registered members without a paid membership. Its current practice economy has no cash value. Do not describe practice cards or balances as cash, investments or guaranteed prizes. Registered character starter cards form a separate collection; album previews do not mean you own those cards.
Local Marketplace: Sales, service offers and other public listings are submitted by their publishers. Loopmigo does not verify their accuracy, legality, quality, identity or availability. Check the details independently and agree directly with the other party on any price, delivery, refund or service arrangements. Loopmigo does not currently process marketplace payments, provide escrow, insure a transaction or guarantee a seller. Do not list illegal goods, stolen property or deceptive offers. Choose safe public meeting places and protect your personal and financial information.

Transit predictions, GPS, maps, route suggestions and availability reports can be delayed, inaccurate or unavailable. Verify current routes, service alerts, accessibility, entrances and rental availability with the relevant operator. A map route is not proof that access is safe, lawful or open. Respect traffic rules, property boundaries and closures. Stop in a safe place before operating the app. Radio and Ride Companion are not emergency services. Call 911 in an emergency.
Collection stories and progress are for enjoyment. They do not verify a visit, discovery, ownership or permission to enter a place. Loopmigo is independent of CTA and other transport operators.
Use Report and hide or Block this publisher on a beacon, and use radio mute, leave and host controls where available. Contact support for abuse, privacy concerns, suspected underage registration or an appeal. Include the relevant title, approximate time or page link; never send passwords, recovery codes or illegal imagery.
Loopmigo may review reports, remove violating content and restrict misuse. Automated text review can assist the operator, but reviews can be delayed or incorrect. Continuous monitoring, immediate responses and prevention of every harmful interaction are not promised. The Privacy Notice describes the present use of OpenAI and DeepSeek for public community text review.
Read the Privacy Notice accepted with this version for how information is stored, shared and deleted. You can delete your registered account in account settings. Separate public posts and browser-saved data may need separate deletion; the app explains those controls. The registration record contains your account identifier, age confirmation, acceptance time, document versions and document hashes. This form does not request an identity document, birth date or signature image.
Your acceptance is recorded once for this version. We do not treat an older account's acceptance as acceptance of a new document. If a later change requires a new agreement, it must be presented for a new choice. The copy linked to your acceptance remains available separately from the current terms page.
Access to Loopmigo does not by itself grant permission to redistribute its original software, branding, character artwork or other original materials, except where an applicable license or law permits it. Do not misrepresent a copy as the official Loopmigo service. Third-party and open-source materials remain governed by their own licenses; these terms do not restrict rights those licenses grant. See the licenses and source credits. You retain your rights to your own submitted content as described above.
